Cupid and Psyche by Pascal Simon

I turn and look back,

But I cannot remember.

The feelings I had,

When my memories broke asunder.

Yet this music,

Echoes with remembrance.

A melody nostalgic,

Full of unknown resemblance.

I dreamt of you,

Lighting the dark woods in the night.

Though I know not who,

You guide me with a bright white light.

Now my greatest fear,

Is that I cannot remember.

Dreams blur and unclear,

Would fade away and disappear.

So I know in pain,

That you are my missing piece.

And when we meet again,

I would give you a gentle kiss.
