Moonlight

The Starry Night by Van Gogh

~

As  the calm winds  bring untainted serenity,

So do the moonlight brings peace.

That silence would offer such wanted tranquility,

In a period when time should freeze.

_

The crystal clear notes of the Appassionata,

Rings with chaos and violence.

Beethoven’s madness is reflected in the sonata,

As it breaks the night’s silence.

_

What would I give to drown in its madness,

And savor its unearthly melody.

What would I give to be trapped in darkness,

Of this night which is a part of me.

_

While others long for the coming of morning’s sunlight,

I weep for the passing of another beautiful moonlight.
