How to be a ‘people magnet’

Recommendability Factor

The Recommendability factor is the sum of qualities you possess that makes a person willing to risk his reputation to promote you to others.

For Work:

  • Reliability – deliver what you promise and do it on time
  • Competence and quality – be professional and meet the quality standards expected of you
  • Likeability – be adaptable, flexible and well-mannered

For Social Responsibility

  • Sincerity
  • Reliability
  • Likeability (Charisma)

For Sophisticated Social Opportunities

  • Good dress code
  • Great social skills
  • Intelligence
  • Sincerity

The First Impression

You only have 60 seconds to transform a new acquaintance into a new associate, or 60 seconds to re-establish your relationship with an existing associate.

Whenever you walk into a room, our clothing and manners are on display. This is the time to create your first impression which is normally within the first 10 to 10 seconds.

Ask these questions:

  • Do you look your best all the time?
  • Do you have the right appeal to complement your personality?
  • Do you have the right thing to wear for all occasions all year round?
  • Do you have a well-coordinated wardrobe – or a closet full of unmatched clothes?
  • Do you know what colors look best on you?

Apart from image, other factors include:

  • Good posture – confidence and competence
