The wanderer above the sea of fog by Caspar David Friedrich

As a wayward traveler we journey thither,

Treading through the plains of life.

Through calm weather we continue to wander,

Masking the irony behind our strife.

But the weather changes as fast as seasons,

And winds are followed by waves.

Thus, things happen with no valid reasons,

As we travel the path that fate paves.

When the sunset reveals the solemn darkness,

And troubles fall like flower petals.

May we face the world with optimistic kindness,

Even in the midst of our epic battles.

Just as the desert with a trickle of water,

Love like life would flourish forever.
