Writer’s Addendum

Knowledge is power. One of the key examples we can see today that proves this maxim is the internet.

The riots, rallies and revolutions of 2011 in the Middle East would not have happened without the power of the internet connecting everyone through knowledge sharing. No longer could tyrants hide their atrocious acts from their people.

These revolutions may be painful in the short-term. But the pain is part of the process that all countries will need to go through in order to achieve a higher level of human civilization.

As Victor Hugo once said, “Nothing can stop an Idea whose time has come!”
