You’ve got to be brave and you’ve got to be bold. Brave enough to take your chance on your own discrimination – what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s good and what’s bad.

~ Robert Frost

Writer’s Addendum

The trend towards globalization seems to be unstoppable. Every advancement in telecommunications seem to bring every human being closer together. Soon, the world will be a global village and our most distant friends and relatives will be able to communicate with us instantly.

Globalization will cause different cultures from different civilizations to come together. It’s not easy to live in a multicultural world. We all have our different ways in thinking and different ways of life. Globalization will force us to self-reflect on the practicality of our cultures, habits and philosophies. Some cultures are likely to even lose their distinct identity in the social multiculturalism of a globalized world.

Morality is destined to change as well. All of us will be exposed to the different practices of ethics by different cultures. There is no quick solution to multiculturalism. The only thing to remember is that we should always strive to adopt the virtues and not the vices of other cultures.
