Writer’s Addendum

The truth. Everyone claims that he is speaking it. Each religion claims to have a monopoly over the truth of salvation. Every politician claim that their social and economic politics will truly save the country from falling into an abyss.

If everyone is claiming that he is speaking truly, then who is?

“Nothing escapes human criticism,” commented Sigmund Freud. Most people have opinions on most things. These are opinions. They are very different from the truth. The truth is unchanging, it is eternal, and it is not constraint to the perspective of a single soul. 1 + 1 will always equal to 2 regardless of whether there are any human beings to deduce such arithmetics.

The truth is independent of the observer. Do well to remember that the next time someone comes along and proclaims a personal version of the truth.
